Squad 4 Lieutenant's Office

Hotaru's office sits right across the hall from her captains office.
It is simple yet elegant at the same time. A desk, and the comfortable yet practical chair behind it, sit to the side of a set of large windows which are open on nice days to let a breeze in and closed during winter and during bad weather to keep the warmth inside.
A pair of couches face each other in the middle of the room, separated by a sturdy wooden table. Almost completely covering one wall is a sturdy yet delicate series of bookshelves, set around 30cm apart and held together by a set of four miniature shelves coming up from the base, made of the same glossy tan wood as both the table and Hotaru's desk.
The bookshelf is covered in medical and healing books as well as books on natural healing methods. There are also fiction and non-fiction books of various genre for when Hotaru has nothing else to do and, in the miniature shelves between the main bookshelves, are photographs, plants, candles and the occasional, breakable knickknack which Hotaru has either collected herself or been given by someone.
There is a chest in the corner of the room, next to the bookshelves and under the window, which contains blankets and pillows for when Hotaru or someone else falls asleep in her office.
