This is where you post your role-play sample to become a captain, Espada, or sin; obtain a visored or canon character, or obtain a bankai. You can only try out for one character at a time.

The RP sample can have any kind of setting, situation, or character. If you're trying out for a canon character, you must use the character you are trying out for in the sample.

There is no specfied length that it has to be, as quality is more important than quantity, but the longer it is, the better.

Post your sample in this topic and wait to be approved or disapproved. If you are disapproved, you cannot tryout again for a week. There are no third chances.

(( Trying out for Lust. ))

The skies were heavily clouded, the thick gray, yet delightfully fluffy looking cotton-esque structures seemed to harmlessly float around gracefully as if they had been choreographed to perform an elegant dance to entertain the tortured souls beneath their gloomy shadow; Occasionally there would be loud rumbles of ominous thunder which would boom through the sounds of screaming that could be heard for miles away that were followed by white lighting strikes which lit up the darkness that was the sky, the overall appearance of the sky was one of how it would look during a horrific thunderstorm yet the clouds had no intention of dropping any water to the burning ground below. The ground, it would feel rather hot if one touched it with their bare hand and not shockingly so, it was red in color as though it had been super heated with a large flame and though it was not a giant fire it was something that did just as much damage; Veins of lava could be seen as plain as day despite the fact that they were well beneath the clay like surface, it was like a desert that had no promises of being renewed by the life giving source of water. Rock pillars stood tall and proud, they were standing at regular intervals all over the the landscape and also had the same lava veins flowing through them as if they depended upon the lava flow like one would depend on blood.

A Shinigami and a Visored couple were looking around and taking in all the gory images of bones that were scattered all over the place and the horrific sounds of screaming coupled with the foreboding booms of thunder were enough to make their skin crawl, a young looking woman with long sapphire blue hair was desperately clinging to the arm of her much taller male companion who had his free hand running through his medium length shaggy silver hair; The Visored male looked down at the Shinigami female briefly before his eyes returned to darting around the area, keeping an eye out for anything that might threaten to harm them as it was hard to sense any impending danger. Both of their guards were on high since they had awoken to find themselves in this strange place, neither of them knew just how exactly they got here and the only thing they could remember was feeling a very strong reiatsu before they blacked out; Their clothes were torn all over yet none of them seemed to have any visible wounds, it was baffling to them though they were glad they wound up in the same place together. The man looked back down at the woman while he took his right hand to the hilt of his zanpakuto, when he'd reached and grabbed it he moved it so that it would bump into the woman's side which in turn made her jump a little due to being so tightly wound.

"Scaredy cat." Kazuya chuckled in an amused manner, it was obvious that his tone and over all actions were meant to make the mood less stressful but the woman either didn't catch on or wasn't amused seeing as she glared up at him with her strong violet eyes. The glare made him gulp at the fictional lump in his throat which was nothing more than a product of his nervousness about just what the woman was planning to do, seeming to have a malicious intent burning deep within her gaze but in truth she was just annoyed. He sighed and turned his gaze back out to the landscape before them, his hand moved away from his zanpakuto and instead was shoved into the pocket of his ripped jeans.

"Don't do that...And the only reason I'm clinging to you is because I feel weak from all this pressure crushing me. Next time you pull a stunt like that I can't guarantee I won't kick your ass." Mizuko shot in an irritable tone, it was true that the strong reiatsu and the over all intensity of it was getting to her, probably him too but it seemed to be hitting her hardest, though this place filled her with an undeniable sense of dread and fear which if asked she wouldn't be able to adequately describe. She sighed and returned her own gaze to the site before her, scanning the area constantly since she couldn't help but feel there was just some sort of danger waiting to get them.

"Sure..." Kazuya replied skeptically, continuing to mess with her now as a means of distraction; He himself could feel the tenseness in the atmosphere and the crushing pressure all around them but he tried his best to ignore and suppress those feelings of doom and focus on finding the way out of where ever the hell they were, he figured the reason he wasn't having such an adverse reaction to the energy was due to his inner hollow or just a general difference in strength between he and Mizuko, they were just guesses though and he wasn't truly sure as his logic was based off of him thinking about the differences between himself and her. At the moment he didn't care if she got angry with him so long as it kept her from sinking under such feelings which he was absolutely sure she was feeling, seeing those eyes of hers dart back up to him with a look which said 'Dumbass knock it off' he knew it was about to get ugly, sure enough she began to yell at him to take the situation more seriously and the two began a little lovers quarrel.

Unbeknownst to the couple they were being watched from the sky hanging high above them, a youthful looking woman was surveying the area while effortlessly gliding through the air; Her black demon wings were stretched out wide as she rode the thermals created by the rising hot air and her long free flowing, wavy jet black hair was swept back behind her from the force of her movements. She looked graceful as she rode the waves of hot air through the skies, almost tranquil since it took little force to keep her afloat; She never had to worry of becoming tired or over strained since thermals were commonplace down here, making it easy to fly for hours on end without ever needing to stop for rest. She had grown bored of the predictable reactions to her charms from the other beings whom she had encountered and decided to go out looking for something more challenging to occupy her time with, that's when she felt the reiatsu from the couple; Now despite the crushing pressure it wasn't hard for the woman to pick up their energy, it was as if she had the ability to ignore the other presences and shut out their reiatsu like a huntress zoning in on the weakest of the herd to prey upon.

Her thin, lengthy tail flicked in delight when she was finally close enough to see them, her piercing icy blue eyes shone brightly in the somewhat dim lighting and seemed to glow almost as she studied them from afar; She was just high enough in the air that it was hard for her to be seen yet she could see perfectly the scene before her, it was clear from their body language that they were arguing about something and that made them the perfect targets. She figured now was as good a time as any so slowly she descended down from the skies and landed behind a rock which was five feet away from the arguing couple, she hid her wings, tail, horns and she even lowered her reiatsu to seem less threatening before she revealed herself to the open; Since the two were distracted she had no trouble coming from her hiding spot and seemingly appear from no where, her steps were slow paced as she walked towards them since she didn't want to just run up and cause a negative reaction which she knew might happen anyway. She stopped right beside Kazuya and reached over to gently tap his shoulder, when she did he blinked and whipped around to see her; His face lit up crimson with a blush as soon as his eyes drank in her curvacious form which seemed to irritate the woman at his side, her eyes narrowed instantly into a distrusting glare towards the female newcomer.

"Just who are you?" Mizuko asked in a tone which clearly signified her suspicions about the other woman and her annoyance with the male at her side whom she had glance over at before turning her shining violet eyes to the other woman, she moved one of her hands from his arm to the zanpakuto at her side and gripped it's hilt tightly; Though she felt too weak to fight right now she would still try if it were necessary, something about this woman was off putting to her and she didn't like the ominous feeling she gave her. Every fiber of her being was telling her to get away from the woman but she decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and see just what she was up to, though despite she didn't trust her one bit and that much was clear in her eyes as they looked at her while waiting for her answer."Quit gawking." She told Kazuya in a whisper after elbowing him in the gut with her free arm, hearing him groan as a result of her jab was something which made her look over to see him glaring back down at her with his emerald green eyes narrowed in an annoyed expression, obviously both of them were still sore from their fighting.

Lilah chuckled softly at the site and just how untrusting the other girl was at her sudden appearance, it amused her deeply and she knew she was going to have fun.'Too easy..~' She thought to herself, the other male seemed rather easily distracted by her charms that she almost felt it wasn't going to be the entertainment she had hope for but she knew better than to assume such a thing from just a couple of minutes in their presence."I'm someone who can help, I noticed you two wandering around and I thought maybe I could lend a hand." She answered the woman in as sweet a voice as she could muster, a calm and nonthreatening tone which was meant to reassure the two that she wasn't there to do any harm...Just yet anyway, though she didn't want them to know that she was actually attempting to trap the two and have a little bit of fun.

Before Mizuko could speak Kazuya chimed in."Let's just give her a chance." He told her, knowing that Mizuko would turn down the helping hand simply because she was jumping to the conclusion that Lilah couldn't be trusted."She's only about as strong as a fifth seat.." He reasoned in a whisper towards his female companion, his eyes briefly meeting hers before they turned attention back to the newcomer. Emerald green orbs trailed every last inch of her curvacious body eventually stopping to gape at the all too obvious cleavage displayed seemingly carelessly for all to see. He gulped back a bit as he felt his face reflush with the crimson color of a blush, almost like he couldn't help but look at the other woman.

Mizuko rolled her eyes at the male and scoffed, she was getting annoyed with how easily he was distracted by the other woman and was even feeling offended."Yeah but still--" She was cut of yet again though this time mid-sentence by Lilah who was wearing a cheeky sort of smile which irked Mizuko, her eyes cut into narrow slits at the other woman, glaring at her with an irritated expression on her face; Her violet eyes seemed to shine with a burning fire as she eyed the other woman in disgust, a low and inaudible growl escaped her throat and she clenched the hilt of her zanpakuto tighter. Obviously jealous of the other female despite the fact they had only just met, irritated that she had been cut off twice now as well which didn't help her worsening mood.

"I think you should listen to that handsome man~ He seems like he's also got brains as well as looks~" Lilah told the other woman with a slight giggle, enjoying how easy it was to invoke a reaction from the pair. Obviously flattering Kazuya as well, which seemed to have the desired affect since his face lit up with a brighter blush and he flashed a grin; His body language telling her that she already had cast her little spell of sorts on him, it was easier than she would have liked for today but the reactions of the other woman were enough of a delight to make up for the lack of entertainment the weak willed male brought."I'm not out to getcha or anything~" It seemed as though her tone got more playful or mischievous the more she spoke but it still didn't hold any ill intent to it as she was still working them over.

At this point Mizuko was beyond infuriated, she didn't know why she was becoming so mad so fast either since normally she was much more calm but there was something about that woman that pissed her off. It was also the fact that she knew she wasn't going to get Kazuya to listen to her no matter what she said, so ultimately she decided to give in for the moment and just see where things lead. Maybe the woman wasn't as bad as she was making her out to be, she was at the strength of a fifth seat right now as he had said but she knew how easy it was to hide one's true strength so she wasn't going to believe it unless there was more proof. She took a breath to prepare for what she was going to say and to help her calm down as well."Fine..." Mizuko spoke in a defeated sigh, realizing there was no point to continue arguing.

After Mizuko had finished speaking Lilah had locked arms with Kazuya and lead him off which made the former huff in irritation since he didn't even try to deny the gesture, Mizuko crossed her arms over her chest and followed along behind them with an annoyed look as she watched the two and caught pieces of their conversation; Feeling more abandoned and jealous the more time passed, to distract herself she looked around the landscape but it being the morbid sight it was it didn't help all too much. There was still that nagging feeling in the back of her head which told her that something wasn't quite right here but unfortunately he wasn't going to listen, she eventually began to think she was just being paranoid untill Lilah turned her head to look over her shoulder in the middle of her and Kazuya's conversation and flashed her a devious smirk; At that point her suspicious were confirmed and she cursed herself for being powerless to stop whatever it was the other woman was planning, Lilah than turned away from the wide eyed woman and cast her gaze back on the man at her side who was just falling deeper into her spell. Waiting for just the right moment to make her next move, all the while giggling to herself about just how much fun this had turned out to be after all.

Ya know what? Ima have to read that after scool. o.o So long. xD

“Come on, we don’t have to fight,” Isako said. Her voice had a slight wine to it, and held a desperate undertone. She actually would have preferred if they did fight, but if she seemed resistant to do so it made her look weaker. Isa wasn’t weak by any means, but if her opponent thought that then they wouldn’t use as much strength as they normally would and that would make it easier on her. Sighing, Isa’s hand dropped to the hilt of her Zanpaktou. “Well, if you insist.” She drew Resa, her zanpaktou and let the tip point to the ground in a casual manner. She put one hand on her hip and waited. She wanted her enemy to attack before she did so she could judge her opponent’s fighting style before moving to make a counter attack.

“We may not have to, but I want to,” the other female, Venus, replied, her voice cold as ice. She pushed her bangs to the side, where they had fallen into her eyes again. Grumbling a complaint, Ven felt around in her pockets until she found the pin she was looking for. She pinned her blond bangs back so she wouldn’t have to worry about them in her way during the battle. Seeing Isako bring out her zanpaktou, Ven drew the pistol on her left hip. She would start out with just one, to test her opponent. One would probably be all she would need, anyways. Ven pointed the barrel at Isa and put her finger on the trigger, lightly applying pressure and allowing the gun to take some of her spiritual pressure. After she decided it would be enough, Ven fully pulled the trigger, sending a ball of mossy green, crackling spiritual pressure at her enemy.

Isa widened her eyes slightly, with a mock look of shock. She used shunpo to move at the last second, and the ball passed harmlessly to her right. She rolled her eyes at Ven and called out her zanpaktou’s release phrase “Protect and attack, Resa!” She watched as her sword disintegrated into sand and smiled slightly. She had decided against her plan of testing her opponent. She wanted to get this done quickly now. Using her mind, Isako created a ball similar to the one that had just been shot at her, but Isa’s was made out of sand and it was explosive. She sent the ball flying to Ven, doubting it would hit but wanting to test the Sin’s speed anyways. “You’re spiritual pressure is impressive,” she muttered under her breath, just loud enough for Ven to hear.

Venus laughed, a sound like a gentle waterfall in a stream. “Thank you,” she said, raising her pistol to block the attack. When it exploded, Ven was surprised and had minor burns on her hands. “Well, well, that was unexpected,” she said to herself, then laughed again. This Shinigami was amusing her. She used shunpo make a circle around Isa, firing several tama from different locations as she did so. Ven then appeared on a nearby tree branch behind Isa and watched the result of the attacks.
Smiling slightly when she saw her attack give damage, Isa was surprised at the rapid recovery and counter attack of the sin. She doubted she would be able to dodge everything, so she quickly summoned her hollow mask. She was able to avoid most of the tama, but she didn’t notice one of them and she got hit in the stomach. She doubled over in pain, her vision going temporarily blurry. Isa stood up and turned to glare at Ven. She should have expected this, seeing as how she was a sin. Isako rubbed her stomach where she had been hit then called out “Bankai, Resa Kisaki!” She still had her hollow mask on, but she knew it wouldn’t last as long as she would need it. She created one of her sand blades, and shunpoed just in front of Ven. Isa slashed downward, the blow aimed for the top of Ven’s head down to her mid abdomen.

Quickly drawing her other pistol, Venus crossed the two guns to block the attack of the sword. She then fired three small tama at Isako while she was still in close range; She hoped that since Isa was at such a close range that the added strength of a charged tama wouldn’t be necessary. After she fired her guns, Ven moved to the opposite side of the meadow and leaned casually against a tree. “You’re not half bad, visored,” she said. “I am amused.”

Isa shunpoed out of the way of the tama, although she was almost hit by one in the process. “You’re pretty good yourself, friend,” Isako replied. Her voice was strained, and had the strange, raspy tone that the hollow added. She was slightly out of breath from all the dodging she had been doing, and her Bankai was tiring her more quickly than normal since she had activated it so early on in the battle. This time, Isa made no move to counter attack. She was going to wait for the sin to attack again. “Do you mind if I ask your name?”

Venus rolled her eyes. How quickly these other beings tired. “My name is Venus, Latin for grace, and I am the sin of envy.” Ven made a move to raise the pistol in her left hand, planning on adding poison to the next tama that she released, but she stopped when she felt a menacing presence. A Menos Grande had been attracted to the area by the large amounts of spirit energy being released in battle. “Would you like to leave the hollow to destroy the lives of the humans in the city and continue our fight or would you like to depart and be considered a coward?” she asked the visored, with a smirk on her face.

Isako muttered a curse under her breath. Even if the wasn’t a soul reaper anymore, she still held the lessons that she had earned in the Academy. Isa stilled believed that human lives must be protected, and that hollows must be destroyed, even though she had crossed into the realm of the second. “This is not over,” Isa told the sin, glaring. She felt her mask fade away, and she also sensed that her zanpaktou’s sand had reformed completely from her previous attacks. She sealed her zanpaktou and sheathed it, then shunpoed away from the area to face the new threat.

You can only try out for one character at a time. For this, I can give you the visored with bankai if you want.
